I've always appreciated a good story, and I believe the right voice can make all the difference in how it's experienced. My narration style is warm, grounded, and conversational, with a mature tone, natural authority, and just a little grit around the edges. Whether it's a suspenseful thriller, an action-packed adventure, historical nonfiction, or a heartfelt memoir, I enjoy bringing stories to life with performances that feel genuine and believable.
For over 20 years, audiobooks have been a big part of my life. Through my time working in manufacturing, law enforcement, and medical robotics, I always found opportunities to listen. Somewhere along the way, I started thinking about what it would be like to be the one telling those stories. Eventually, I decided to give it a shot, and what started as a longtime interest turned into something I truly love doing.
These days, I narrate and produce audiobooks from my own recording studio, where I put just as much care into the sound of a production as I do the performance itself. I enjoy exploring different characters, finding the natural rhythm of a story, and creating an experience that keeps listeners engaged without getting in the way of the words.
For me, good narration isn't about putting on a show. It's about making the story feel real.
Outside the studio, I'm an outdoors kind of guy. I grew up in the mountains of Southwest Virginia, and I still enjoy hiking, biking, running, working out, and spending time with my wife and daughter.
At the end of the day, I get to do something I spent years enjoying as a listener, and that's a pretty great feeling. Every story deserves a voice, and I'd love the opportunity to help bring yours to life.

I record with a RØDE NT1 Signature Series condenser microphone, paired with a Focusrite Scarlett audio interface. My recording space is acoustically damped to minimize unwanted reflections, allowing me to capture the natural character of my voice without distracting room ambience.
